Through the regulars who frequent the place, students from the nearby private school, Colegio Santa Gabriella, Shevon forms friendships that encourage him to return to regular school despite his past trauma. While Shevon is the main character, this book exists to extend the lives of his friends, family, classmates, and others around him as they navigate teenage life and its struggles.
