Alexander Derrent is an odd fellow, as he spends most of his time locked up in his inherited Manor: "Staxon Hill House" dressed in only the finest 18th century suits. So when The Doctor arrives in this place and sees a young vampiric looking man sitting on a wooden throne eating mac 'n' cheese watching the chase, she at first believes that something is majorly wrong. But perhaps this is just the eccentric she was looking for to fill that void left when the fam are off doing whatever it is they do when she's not around.

Set a few days after Eve of the Daleks, this thasmin romance touches on the complicated relationship that Yaz and the Doctor find themselves in. Dan has left for a day home, and Yaz has gone to lunch with Sonya, leaving the Doctor alone in the TARDIS, when Yaz returns and asks her over for tea. The story will mainly focus on Yaz and the Doctor's relationship outside of their daily adventures, I'm not sure how long it will be yet!
