Historias de 1453

Rome has fallen. Constantinople, the last bastion of Christianity in the East has been sacked by the Ottoman Turks finally bringing an end to the ancient empire and the last emperor, Constantine XI. However, in the ashes of Rome the Roman people remain. A Turkish Janissary recalls his journey through former Roman provinces to discover the source of troubling rumors and root out an insurrection before it can begin.

May 29, 1453, the walls fell... When they fell then men who defended them charged out to meet their enemy head on. For they would rather die than surrender. They were the last Romans.

The Year is 1453, The Byzantine Empire is on it's knees. The Emperor has called all of his people including those under Ottoman rule to escape to the sea and go west. Soon a fleet formed of Greek people fleeing their homeland and soon enough they disappear, vanished into thin air... They end up in another universe on a continent that is devoid of people and they claim it as a new homeland, Elysium named after the Elysian Fields also known as the "Isles of the Blessed" But what will the future of the Empire hold...
