Vada, a black unmarried woman, who works as a midwife and only close acquaintance was killed. And Marlene, the mayor's only daughter, a naive, free spirited woman. - This is a short story I wrote for my English class, and since many people liked it, I thought it would be nice to publish. I know the description isn't exactly captivating, but please, give it a try, you might like it! - Warning! English is not my first language. I was only given two weeks to plan and write the story, so it wasn't as developed as I would've wanted it to be and the end was a little rushed.
