I am a disciple of time, I follow behind it. I have no choice. It's one of the most important parts of being human, however I know time itself doesn't exist. It's a maddening illusion our humanity offers to us. Our consciousness can only fathom so much. Perception is everything in this world. Temple, our body is a temple but to most it is a prison. Our bodies were not the first creation. My soul more often than not feels trapped inside these hardened shells of humanity. Some of us know we are different.

Narena Oberon's father has a secret. One that could land him in the gallows for witch craft. He knows when Narena finds out it will be dangerous for her, because she too holds the same power he does. But he had hoped he wouldn't need to share it with her until times were safer. That is, until one day he falls gravely ill. In desperate hope to cure her father, Narena asks the heavens for a miracle and is somehow answered when she learns that she can go back, and forward, in time. But moving from one era to another isn't as easy as she first thought. There are rules. Limits to her power. Laws of nature that must be followed. And certain people she must avoid. Arriving in a time she doesn't belong in, Narena meets a young blacksmith. But he holds an unnatural device also used for time travel, and he can't remember how he got it. Together, they must help each other in order to repair the present, change the future, and return to the past, or lose everything they've ever known.

" 'In the name of Zeus, and by the power of Olympus, I condemn you for the murder of Patroklos.' He summoned the power of the Gods, digging his blade deeper as Cyan stared right back into his eyes. He wished he could understand, he wished he could have listened but all he could think about was the moment the most important thing in his life was taken away from him. 'I condemn you to feel the ache of the loss I felt, to watch your loved ones die before your eyes,' Achilles continued, the purest form of anger radiating off of him while Cyan felt himself loosing conscience. '...For eternity.' " Cyan of Troy could have never imagined suffering the greatest loss, but his pain only worsened when he realized that the torture would be endured until the end of time. Watching his loved ones die relentlessly as he skimmed through time periods was unbearable, but he had to find a remedy to his life sentence, even if it would take him two thousand years.
