The duo explored hypothetical scenarios, offering insights into Travis's parenting ethos, which he describes as "strict but not strict." Alabama initiated the conversation by questioning her father about his perceived strictness. To this, Travis responded with a casual "No," setting the tone for a conversation that oscillates between laid-back and protective. The scenarios covered various aspects of teenage life, from sneaking out to dating. When asked about sneaking out, Travis hinted at potential restrictions while emphasizing the dangers. Ben: "There's no point in fighting with you, is there?" My boss asked, dejectedly. I stay silent. I'm making my way through life. I've got Aiden and Rosa to take care of and I'm doing fine. We're getting by and Rosa's having a good childhood. And that's what matters. As long we can keep Rosa happy and healthy, I don't really care. I'm an 18 year old boy, still in high school with a part-time job and a family to take care of. I can be reckless and rash and sometimes I might not be thinking straight. But I'll decide what's best. I'm their guardian and I'll do what I think is right. I've made it so far. I'm sure I can go a little further. Aiden: I put my head down on the desk, my arms covering my head as I cried. I don't want to become like our father; the same father Rosa luckily never met. I don't want her to be scared of me. I don't know if I'll be angry at her again. I don't deserve her but I don't want to let her go. The one person that can destroy my world and I'm scared she might be afraid of me. "Aiden has his priorities straight unlike most people our age. Sure he goes fucking around half the time, but family is always his first priority. Rosa is his first priority," He emphasized. "We're the only thing that's keeping him grounded. Imagine what his life would be like if we weren't here." He would be destroying himself if anything happened. And he's only 15. Rosa: Rosa is sweet and good-natured and almost always happy. She learnt her manners early and always used them. She's smart for her age and is always eager to learn new things and if she doesn't understand anything, she'll tug on our jeans to explain. She has never had a hassle with anything, making it easier for Ben and I to raise her. Rosa sat with me outside, talking about nothing in particular. I love sitting and just chatting with Rosa. She has a big imagination and always makes stories in her mind. It might be a small story about a ladybug or an entire biography of a fox.
