Miss Lucy Ducois the most eligible young lady of the season of 1830. Her parents, the Duke and Duchess Ducois have done an excellent job at raising such a prim and proper lady, especially in their secluded castle hidden in the hills of England. Her debut in London may well be her first dip in the water of the lifestyle of the ton. We all cannot wait to see how Miss Ducois will perform this season.

Writing a chapter in a book with the working title '1830' I found myself re-constructing a wedding in Arlesey, Bedfordshire in the December of that year. Having most of the names of the individual family members who could be at the wedding, I decided to look more closely at the data.
