Born a slave in Kentucky, William Gibson served in both the famous 54th Massachusetts Volunteer Infantry during the American Civil War under his alias John Saunders and as a Buffalo Soldier with the 10th United States Cavalry. As a boy, he self-emancipated and took the Underground Railroad to freedom and relative safety from the Refugee Slave Act of 1850 in Chatham, Canada West. He was the only member of his family to successfully seek freedom before the war. Hoping this non-fiction piece will inspire some excellent historical fiction. Jane Blythe lives very well. Her family owns a large estate with a beautiful garden. Unfortunately, this estate is far out in the country, isolated from the big city. Jane quickly becomes terribly bored, wishing she could live in the colourful big city and have adventures. But then, when her big brother Micheal moves to the city for a job, Jane just sneaks along. Well hidden in the carriage, she travels with her brother to Whitegables. In the town, Jane doesn't know how to find her way around at first, she gets lost a lot and her brother suddenly knows where she is too. In a sudden panic, she takes the money she has left and buys a train ticket to go back. She was ready to confess everything to her family until she met a strange boy who turned her life around 180 degrees once again. -- All rights belong to me

This is a description of the 1850s which I had created as homework for my English lesson. It is familiar with Black Butler's concept, yet it doesn't exactly base itself off of the storyline, only the surroundings; wealth, and overall the Victorian times.
