Damon sent Elena home in hopes of avoiding issues with the Sire Bond and so he could train Jeremy as a hunter. Elena, who is at home and frustrated because he will not answer her phone calls, decides she needs to clean her living room after Matt and Jeremy wrecked it with a junk food and video game night. When she lifts up a loose floorboard underneath the couch she finds more Gilbert journals and an old compass. Suddenly in eighteen-sixty-four amongst Katherine Pierce and the human Salvatore brothers, after she touched the compass, Elena pretends to be Katherine's twin sister so she can survive until Emily can find a way to send her home. How exactly is Elena going to do this without changing her own timeline? Originally published through FanFiction.Net in 2012, this story was finished in 2013 and published through the Kindle Worlds Program. I co-wrote this novel with Daniela Schultz (although she goes by Taaroko, and has asked me not to reveal her real name). When the program ended in 2017, all "rights" reverted back to me. I am no longer getting royalties from this fanfiction, and so I decided to post it for anyone who wants to enjoy!

LIKELY SLOW UPDATES On April 12, 1861, civil war broke out in the United States. Each side fought for the cause they believed in, but only one could come out victorious in the end. It remains the bloodiest conflict in American history. *I only own my characters, which you'll meet as the story goes on.* [No set day, more random uploads] (I am not sure specifically where the cover image is from, I found it on Pinterest, but it is a painting of a Civil War battle.)

1861. Victoria was queen, Abraham Lincoln was president, and Britain ruled the waves - and most of the planet. Against this backdrop, Aminta finds the past has a longer reach than she realized. She thought England, a world away from the fields of Georgia, would be the key to her freedom. Here, she could go where she wanted, work when and for whom she wanted, and associate with those she wanted. Yet she finds a new set of obstacles: a society that, while outwardly against the evil that flourished in the nation of her birth, was still just as controlling and structured. And is her past truly behind her, or is it simply waiting to return the moment she least expects? *** A lady's companion was a young woman hired by childless older upper-class women in the Victorian era as a "substitute daughter" or chaperone. *** This is my first serious attempt on this site, and this work is mostly to help me develop a writing habit. Constructive criticism is welcome!

A surreal, unnatural world where anything could happen. Sentience, a place where nightmarish creatures and angelical beings can coexist, where the lion can truly lay beside the lamb. Except, there's a dark secret here, and a twist that nobody wants to unveil. They're hiding something from you, and they're doing it well. Disclaimer; There will be mentions of mildly graphic scenes, drug use, alcohol, mild abuse, and mentions of mental disorders, such as schizophrenia, depression, D.I.D. (Disassociative Identity Disorder), etc. There are also sociopathic characters in this story; if this disturbs you, then I recommend you don't read it. Thanks <3

Colonius Droste is a rich man, his outlaw days are long over, and he's ready to hunker down for the fall and winter in a nice rented out apartment in the city. 1866 was gonna be his year. Unfortunately, the Pollman Brothers are rather keen on being rich for the majority of the winter, so they kindly take some weight off of Colonius's wallet after knocking him out for a while. Now, Colonius is alone in the desert, with pocket change that couldn't buy him a horse. Will he survive the Wild West, or is it a bit too wild for him to handle? It would seem his outlaw days are back, and I reckon the Pollman Brothers are rather keen on keeping him down and dead. Except for one. Joseph Salem.

In which Lavinia Abrams, a girl with wealth, moves to Concord, Massachusetts, and slowly but surely falls for the blonde artist across the way. Lavinia Abrams was a girl born into wealth and class, life handed to her on a silver platter. She was aware of those less fortunate than her and their struggles, but never truly understood. It wasn't her fault, an overprotective mother and a narcissistic father will do that to you. So when a scandal destroys her father's reputation, and the Abrams must move to Concord to start over, Lavina finds herself learning a lot from the family across the meadow. The March family is kind, compassionate, and considerate, nothing like Lavinia's own family. It's understandable that she would start to find a new family, new love, among them. Particularly in the beautiful blonde that is the youngest sister, Amy March. 𝓘'𝓭 𝓵𝓲𝓴𝓮 𝔂𝓸𝓾 𝓽𝓸 𝓹𝓪𝓲𝓷𝓽 𝓶𝓮 𝓸𝓷𝓮 𝓭𝓪𝔂... 𝓗𝓸𝔀 𝓪𝓶 𝓘 𝓽𝓸 𝓹𝓪𝓲𝓷𝓽 𝓼𝓾𝓬𝓱 𝓫𝓮𝓪𝓾𝓽𝔂?

America's greatest conflict. The Civil War. 1861-1865. Brother against brother, father against son. Elizabeth Hawkins is only 19 when war breaks out. She must make the biggest decision in her short life: Does she join her brother and nurse those in need, or does she live comfortably in the peace of her own home? Note: The battles and commanders are real events and people. I tried to be as accurate as possible with events of battles. Other than those, this is a completely original story. Also, the picture above is an illustration of the attack on Fort Sumter April 12, 1861; beginning of one of the bloodiest wars in American history, if not the bloodiest. Image is courtesy of an article from the Smithsonian.

It is late 1860. Abraham Ernest Levitan, a secluded farmer, needs help tending to the extensive land he owns. Agatha Eve Irvine, an otiose young girl is sent to find a job as a cure for her discourteous ways. She arrives at the Lonehaven Ranch when the only available job flies into her face while walking down a street in Yellowville, Kentucky. The girl takes on this labor with no other option, not knowing what to expect and with little eagerness to get her hands dirty by working the ways of the country. What she certainly does not expect is for the landowner to be a black man. //Story idea under construction. Everything is subject to change. Idea: May 8 2022. Do not copy!
