A girly looking man is forced to go to the Union hospital and work as a nurse. At first he doesn't want to go, but then he remembers the reason that he volunteered to war. A Captain denied yet another promotion to his cocky Major, no Lieutenant Colonel. Him and his team are forced on to a mission that they are already late for. A shot rings out forever forcing the Confederate Captain into a situation he needs to get out of. Soon, before the blood loss gets to him. Two Union nurses are busy with the usual amputations, blood, and bandages. But when a rooky nurse comes along, things don't exactly go according to plan.... A Union solider is forced to drag....correction transport, a Confederate Captain to the hospital before he dies from blood loss. The solider fears that the Confederate will kill him, however he is now thinking he might go insane before he could ever die from that Captain.

People in 1883 were pretty violent, and especially so towards immigrants. So what will happen when a man sets out to destroy a group of them? What clever tricks will he use? And what will happen when they all start to brawl?

Will they ever manage to achieve there dream of running away from the hospital? - So this story is set in the 1800s in London, I made it out of my love of Oliver twist and hetty feather and all things Victorian and its kinda based over Oliver twist and hetty feather. Also the foundling hospital was like children's home and a place for education so basically a boarding school. I hope u enjoy it ^-^

This is, first and foremost, a love story. I realize there are a lot of things that may distract from that (assorted vampires, Milton, mischievous nephews, Skippy's past, etc.) but at heart it's just a simple love story. And it does have a happy ending. Mostly, anyway.
