This is about two brothers, Damon and Stefan Salvatore, who lived in Mystic Falls in 1864. They met a beautiful girl, Katherine Pierce, who came to Mystic Falls, and they immediately fell in love. But she turned out to be a vampire and slept with both of them. But then there was a vampire hunt, which was organized by the founders, and their father was there. They caught Katherine and Damon blamed Stefan for this because he told their father that she was a vampire, although they promised each other not to do this. Katherine dies and they turn into vampires, killed by their own father with Katherine's blood in his body. Stefan decides to complete the process and, unwillingly, kills his father by drinking his blood. He makes his older brother do the same with the girl. After that, Stefan began to kill and Damon left. Stefan was helped by a vampire and showed him another way. he traveled a lot but never stayed for long, and arrived in New York in 1889. he decided to correct his mistakes. soon he met Damon and was very happy to see him, but he reminded him that he had not forgotten that he forced him to turn and about Katherine's death. Damon cannot forget Katherine and does not want to admit that she manipulated them both, unlike Stefan who is trying to move on, although he cannot forget her, he does not want to apologize so as not to feel even more guilt. my antagonist is a vampire who called himself Jack the Ripper to scare people. their relationship is not as tense as it will be later, but it is already beginning to shake.
