Annie "Raider" Morris is known around New York as weak. Like her brother, she too is on a crutch. Annie has never had an easy life, but she loves every second of it. When an attack happens and she goes to the refuge, the rest of the newsies do everything in their power to save her. But with the strike at the same time, will they be able to do both?

This is of the 1899 Newsboy Strike against Joseph Pulitzer with some new characters and love in the air. This is based off of the movie.

Everyone's heard about the scary leader of Queens. How, good ol' Slip drowned someone who crossed her turf in the river. Everyone know's just how fierce and wicked and cruel she is. Her newsie name, Slip. It's not cause she's clumsy (although she totally is), it's that she'll slip out of your grip like water. No one wants to ever mess with Queens. What happens when the newsies of Manhattan chose to strike. Spread the word. But no wants to mess with Queens. Oh well, I guess someone had to. And that someone is none other, than Racetrack Higgins.... ------ "I never forgot you." "Neither did I," Once upon a time Racetrack Higgins and Slip- Andrew Redwood were best friends. Quickly joining the newsboys, she finds herself caught up in a newsie strike and a certain blue eyed Brooklyn leader. Avery DaSilva is a lower Manhattan newsie with a friendly and perky attitude. The other newsies love her and she loves them, well, all accept one. Tommy Boy seems to bring the worst out of the redhead as the two constantly bicker. Behind her perky personality, Tommy can help but feel she is hiding something. He's not entirely wrong, Avery absolutely refuses to talk her time at refuge, even with her brother. With a strike beginning old memories start to resurface, nearly breaking her in the process, and Tommy Boy might be the only one who can help her.

That's up until his parents drop dead in a trolley accident. Now Toby is left with nothing. Except for a friend over in Brooklyn, offering him a hand. Or a hundred. Honestly this is much less one-shots than whatever sudden inspiration hits me. I'm sure all of these will be short and probably sad. The first two are inspired by a role play I'm doing with one of my friends and they are really short. Feel free to give me recommendations for what you'd like written and maybe I'll do something. I'll put possible trigger warnings at the beginning of each one.
