During these five years, the six siblings eventually each find love, with Sumiko and Kyojuro falling in love with one another soon after she takes his place as the flame pillar after a year and a half, Takeo falling in love with Kanao, young Thunder breathing user Zenitsu Agatsuma falling in love with Nezuko, Sanemi's younger brother Genya falling in love with Hanako and Shigeru and Rokuta falling in love with Sanemi and Genya's two younger sisters Sumi and Teiko three weeks after being introduced to them.
