But unfortunately, Seán had been hanging out with a bad group of friends, and had been getting into gang fights frequently, resulting in him being sent to jail, which would get him drafted into WWI. So..... it's about this kid named Benjamin Willis who falls in love with this girl named Charlotte baker and Benjamin's brother goes off to the war and Benjamin goes with him Charlotte tells them to be safe(at this point Benjamin and Charlotte are dating) then a few weeks later Benjamin and his brother get a Letter from their mom saying Charlotte has died because her house got blown up and so Benjamin is sad and is now going to do anything to avenge her even if it means being killed.
