They met in their first year, drawn together like fragments of different puzzles that somehow created a perfect image. And this is their story about how they discover the secrets of Oxford, making friends along the way and managing to stay out of trouble.

The races seemed to be a way to get everyone's mind off the great depression. It took them to a place where anything could happen.The jockeys risked their lives for a couple minutes of fame, or in many of the jockeys cases poverty. They sung and danced and in Mexico at the Tijuana track you could do and be whoever you wanted to be. Jane found this out at a young age, at Tijuana she could be whoever she wanted to be. And that's what she's did, she became someone who could finally send money back home, even if it caused her a couple broken ribs and scratches. However nothing can last forever, in 1935 gambling is banned in Mexico. The thrilling years of excitement is over for the races. Jane packs up and leaves for the United States where the races are on a take off. For Jane it's just a matter of time before her wall comes falling down, for Adam it's just a matter of time before he can't keep that secret anymore.
