Nighthawks is a short story inspired by the painting Nighthawks by Edward Hopper. It's a story about a lonely man who has slipped into a cesspool of self hatred after loosing his job and feels as if his whole world has turned against him and he can't seem to find his way out. Although, with a close friend by his side, he realizes that life is not so bad after all.

A young girl by the name of Sylve Vitale works as a singer at her fathers jazz bar within New York city,though behind closed doors beyond her fathers knowledge her side hobby is an investigators assistent. Within thier lovely little bar the small talk from rich influencers and businessmen create the atmosphere besides the music played on stage. Despite this bar being held rather high in class its bustling with mafia members some that work under her dad while others are from partnering families. What is to happen if a feared mafia boss grows an intrest in the girl? Will the murders around her be left behind the medias knowledge or will the mans obsession fall into his hands?.
