This short story is an excerpt from my novel, In A Gadda Da Vida. (2002). It tells of the author's childhood remembrance when The Beatles appeared on the Ed Sullivan Show on February 9, 1964.

In the year of 1964, David was in the studio recording a song called "Dancing in the Street" with a fellow friend and lead singer of Rolling Stones. No matter through ups and downs, they discover that they may not be good for eachother.

It's 1964, with the 'Beatlemania' quickly taking the world by storm. In a few days, London will be taken over by devoted fans of The Beatles as they rush to see the fabulous four live in concert. Elizabeth is no different. She's looking forward to seeing her favourite group with her own eyes...but she doesn't meet them in the way she expected...
