A canon-compliant rewrite of The Outsiders completely from Sodapop's perspective. I do not own any of the characters featured in this story! The original book and the characters are all owned by the original author, S.E. Hinton. This is a non-profit fan work written for creative purposes. However, the specific dialogue, pacing, and creative text in this rewrite belong to me.

9 year old Christi Anderson was born in Selma, Alabama. She has seen the way people were treated because of segregation. She didn't understand it. One day, she mets a girl who was not realizing what was going on either. They lived next door to each other. They became good friends until a few days later, Christi finds out that her friend wasn't playing with her anymore, she was playing with the other kids. At school, the same thing was going on. She didn't know what was going on, but she was determined to find out.

Kate is on the greasers' side, after befriending Ponyboy, who also skipped a couple years in school. However, the closer she gets to the greasers, the more of a target she becomes to the Socs.
