Y/N Douglas, the adopted daughter of Abolitionist Frederick Douglas, is a strong woman with a heart of gold. When she enlists into the Union Army under a false identity of a man, she becomes the strongest soldier in the whole regiment. During the Battle of Antietam, she is shot and during treatment is found out. Luckily for her during the party at the Shaw's estate she is given quite the offer. This is the first story I've ever written for others to read, so any advice is welcome and appreciated 🙏 ❤️ .
