    This Kingdom was divided into five. Each represented the descendants of one of the five sons of Lord Kadesh. Lord Kadesh was once a king who had gained immortality from the gods, which was a gift for his perfect rule of Kingdom Saphira. The Kingdom's name was later changed, and named after the King, this happened as soon as the gods had blessed him with immortality. Hence, Kingdom Saphira was then known as the Kingdom, Kadesh. Lord Kadesh had one wife alongside ten concubines. His wife had bore him five sons. After she'd bore their first son, five years later, twins followed. Then two years passed, the fourth was born, followed with the fifth the next year. Lord Kadesh divided the kingdom, sharing it to each of his five sons. The plots were divided according to the first born, to the last. The eldest got the largest portion and created a stated which he named after himself, just like his father did with the kingdom. The twins were given equal sized portions, naming their new states after them. And so did the fourth and fifth. Meanwhile, the King's concubines also bore children. But only the sons were gifted portions in the other states owned buy his sons, further dividing the stats into clans which were headed by the sons of the concubines. KINGDOM KADESH: AARON STATE; 7 CLANS; * MICKELSONS * GRIFFONS * ANDERSONS * MALDANORS * MARXS * RICHARDS * MURPHYS ROBIN STATE; 5 CLANS; * ZEKIS * RALPHS * JASONS * STEPHENS * PETERSONS HOBIN STATE; 5 CLANS; * LEONARDOS * ANGELOS * THORSONS * SIMONS * SAMSONS JEAGERS STATE; 3 CLANS; * THOMPSONS * WILLIAMS' * AUSTINS JUDE STATE; 2 CLANS; * ROMANS * NATHANS A thousand years had King Kadesh lived even when his sons had passed away long ago. The gods saw this and then, King Kadesh was promoted to God level, leaving him to ascend to the heavens, with his life as history for the other generations to come.

When the Doyle Gang leaves a town in ashes, Silas sets out across the unforgiving frontier to hunt them down. But vengeance is never a straight path, especially in a world built on betrayal, blood, and broken promises. With him rides Ezekiel Boone, an ex-preacher with a rifle and a past he can't outrun. Along their journey, they cross paths with bounty hunters, war-scarred outlaws, and a woman who may hold the key to Silas's redemption, or his ruin.     "Don't put your trust in revolutions. They always come round again. That's why they're called revolutions. People die, and nothing changes." - Terry Pratchett, Night Watch A retelling of part of Les Miserables, from about 1828-1832. Élise was born into a decent, middle class family, but with her father's death and her brother drinking and gambling away his small inheritance, she moved to Paris, in hope of finding better prospects. With rents going up and wages going down, she eventually ends up living, and then almost dying on the streets, before being rescued by two young medical students. With an introduction to Les Amis de l'A.B.C., she finds the world opening up before her again, and discovers her place in it. Based primarily on Victor Hugo's novel, with some reference to the musical and the 2012 film. Some parts also inspired by Henry Mayhew's London Labour and the London Poor. I will confess myself to be more of a historian than an author, and as such, this book is primarily an attempt to bring some history into a retelling of the aspect of Les Miserables that seems to have captured so many people's imaginations - that is to say, the June Rebellion of 1832 and the lead up to it. {Enjolras x OC}

    "Britain, 1840s Prince William Harry Harrington, the eldest son of the British monarch, stood atop the grand balcony of Windsor Castle, gazing out at the sprawling gardens below. His thoughts, however, were far from the lush greenery and vibrant flowers. They were consumed by the weight of his responsibilities, the expectations placed upon him, and the looming prospect of marriage to the Lady Katherine, a union that would secure the future of the British Empire. But little did William know, the fate of the empire was about to become entwined with that of a young woman from a far-off land, a woman whose life was about to be forever changed by the tides of colonialism. In the Gold Coast of Africa, a region that would soon become known as Ghana, the British were making their move, staking their claim on the rich resources and strategic ports. The drums of war were beating, and the lives of Prince William and Ama, a young Ashanti woman, were about to become inextricably linked in a dance of love, loyalty, and rebellion."

    From the moment I first saw Adhira, her eyes captivated me-deep, soulful, and filled with secrets I longed to uncover. In a world where words often fail, her gaze became my language. Each fleeting glance was a conversation, every meeting of our eyes a whispered confession. She spoke without speaking, and I listened without asking, drawn into the quiet storm of her presence. I was lost, and willingly so, in the silent poetry we shared. This is not just our story of love, but of the unspoken moments that connect two souls forever.
