Dit boek gaat over een meisje genaamd Mery. Vrolijk van buiten maar gebroken van binnen. Weinig mensen zien dat. Het enige met wie ze het deelt is met haar beste vriend Siem waarmee ze op een dag ruzie mee krijgt. 
Ze is ook fan van een groep genaamd bts. En niet zomaar fan, ze is verlieft gewoon. Op een dag hebben vrienden van Mery (Sandra en Maaike) Vip kaartjes gewonnen voor hun concert in Nederland.
