One year after the events of Death Note, a 17-year-old soon-to-be 18-year-old Gothic girl and wannabe witch named Anna Marie Monroe moves to Japan with her acquaintance, Christy Grim who dreams of starting a singing career. Marie tries to get used to the different lifestyle in Japan compared to how different it was in America since she has no desire to return until she graduates from her senior year of high school so she can be able to get over her breakup with a fellow classmate named John Michaels. Everything seems to be going normal until Marie finds a Death Note which contains the power to kill anyone whose name is written inside of it. It's been twenty years since the ill-fated day when students of Kanto Region American High School came to school, not knowing this day would go down in history. (But not for a good reason.) Instead, it would go down as one of the most frightening days in all of Death Note history. At 8:31 AM, a disaster straight out of a Final Destination film took place. Everyone who was inside the school either got out alive or was trapped inside, only to get injured. What students, staff members, the police, and the new Kira herself (Marie Monroe) weren't aware that this was only the beginning of a nightmare.

Ebony Dark'ness Dementia Raven Way is a 17-year-old student attending the prestigious, yet quite isolated academy called R.A.F.A. (Redwood Academy of Fine Arts) in nowhere, Kansas. During her school days, she studies magic, enduring torment from students from other camps, writing in her journal and getting involved in some mysteries surrounding her school and the people associated with it. This story is my retake of the less than stellar "My Immortal" written by Tara Gilesbie under the username "XXXbloodyrists666XXX". This year (2026 as of writing) is its 20th anniversary and I wanted to take a crack at rewriting it. Feel free to leave your honest thoughts down below, I'm open to criticism.
