I said. "I'm hearing love. Are you hearing love?" I couldn't say anything. "Marry me, Aubrey." My eyes snapped up to his. "I'm serious. Marry me." I turned, ready to leave, wanting to leave, hating his trump card. A last ditch effort to hang on to something that needed to be done away with. "We don't work, Rafe." "You're not a little girl." He whispered gently. "You aren't naive enough to believe that love doesn't claim baggage. We all have baggage. We come with it part and parcel, things we carry along, things we downsize and improve on. Things we change and exchange. Come on, Aubrey. We were made for each other. You can feel it. I can feel it."

Ever wanted a quick glance into the day to day lives of the oilfield workers and their families? Here are a few funny and sometimes not so funny descriptions of their jobs and lives.

" Shhhh, dont make a sound. " i felt a grip around my neck as i felt his hot breath behind my ear lobe. " Or i'll kill you and your husband here at this moment. " he whispered as i felt something sharp on my neck that was piercing the surface of my silky skin. My heart was pounding heavily. My breathing became strained causing me to inhale and exhale faster and heavier. We stood in my bedroom feet away from my sleeping husband. He pulls me closer towards his body moving backwards through the hallway. I scanned the hallway's clock, it was 2am. I could only follow him, not wanting to argue or else my life would end here. " You're mine " he whispered in a husky tone placing a soft kiss on the back of my earlobe. He hit the back of my head using the back of the knife. I was seeing double, everything around me started spinning, i was feeling dizzy. I was groaning at the pain, looking down the stairs. It was the last thing i saw before the pain over attacked me and i blacked out.

Together they will encounter many dangerous situations and discover mutual affection.
