My name is William Pilgrim Dankewicz. I am inmate 437582, Mississippi State Penitentiary. I am scheduled to die by lethal injection a few hours from now at 12:01am, January 1, 2046. My appeals have been exhausted. Even if the US Supreme Court were to issue a stay, it would be ignored by the state of Mississippi. Such is the state of our union. There is little doubt I will not see another sunrise. So it goes.

A dystopian future where a virus that started in 2019, had finally ended 26 years later, in 2045. Kade Archer (or Steele) and Baylee Williams were best friends since birth. They both were born September 8, 2020. Growing up the virus got worse and it seemed everything was going wrong. Scientists and Doctors teamed up to stop it by testing babies. They would put a serum in all newborns born from August 7 to October 1. Then it all suddenly stopped in 2030, 10 years later. 25 years later. Kade and Baylee are still best friends. Kade's mom 6ft under and his dad and Baylee's parents in quarantine.Will they unfold the secret? :) none of this is true I just got bored.

dear 2045, I don't think we're going to survive

EXTRACT FROM BOOK: I don't know how to live anymore. With everyone I care about dead, all I can do is focus on Survival finding Food, Fresh Water and Keeping away from the dangerous groups of Reluquos. After the Disease that killed off the Majority of the world finally deceased it left the world a Hostile and Dangerous place. With approximately 2,500 people left in America and 15,000 left in the world, it isn't often you come across someone just passing by, there are three main groups that stick together The Beati, who are the apocalyptic version of a hippy, The Operarios Group (just normal people trying to survive), and then of course The Reluquos the power hungry killers who execute anyone who try's to get in their way or disagrees with them. Oh and then there are just the Loners like me hoping to find somewhere they can fit in and belong. I don't know what made me go this route but for some reason I did and now I'm standing face to face with a Reluquos Army Leader. His strong arm grips onto my Shoulder stopping me from moving, He regards me coolly studying my face for signs of fear, which I'm trying my damned hardest to suppress. Finally he talks....
