Bolt was Tech's ( also known as CT-9903a) twin. All her life she had been studied, poked, and prodded because the Kaminoans considered her a disposable test subject. Even more so than her vod'ika Crosshair. That was mostly because she had the same genetic manipulations that Tech did and as she was female that automatically made her the preferable test subject. As a small act of rebellion, Bolt started speaking only in Mando'a. Her and her brothers Tech and Crosshair were fluent, but as time went on Tech just used his datapad if he needed translations and Crosshair only used Mando'a for the insults, leaving Bolt the only one who spoke mostly Mando'a on a daily basis. At one point her vod had to reteach her basic because she couldn't remember how and Nala Se had nearly decomissioned her for being too rebellious. When the "defective" batch's lives seemed bleakest and it seemed as though not all of them would graduate or make it to graduation, Bolt meets a certain commander who changes the Batch's life for the better...

Obi-Wan Kenobi is eventually broken by the slavers, sold into slavery, bouncing from Master to Master. Though, after a few weeks of being a missing Jedi of the Republic and having sent search teams out for him, one team, lead by Anakin Skywalker, finds the poor, broken, devastated Jedi Master just barely clinging to life.
