Music was her language, her heartbeat, her only way of understanding the world. Her life revolved around composing songs that could heal, comfort, and reach those who were hurting-because she knew that kind of pain too well. Her world was small, quiet, and safe-until one night, during a late call with Ena, Mafuyu, and Mizuki, something strange happened. After their call ended, her monitor flickered. A website she didn't recognize appeared-its name unreadable, its colors distorted. The cursor moved on its own, dancing across the screen as if something alive was watching her. She tried to turn it off. She tried to pull away. But before she could even blink- The screen pulled her in. Now trapped in a world of rust, ruin, and chaos, (Y/N) must navigate the harsh lands of Gachiakuta, where survival depends not on kindness, but on strength. Yet even in this broken world, her music refuses to fall silent. With her mysterious Vital Instrument, a harp that can heal, defend, and fight, (Y/N) becomes an unexpected light among the darkness. hotaru shimizu is sometimes the talk of the school. she is quite mysterious. everyone feels like they know who she really is, but only hotaru knows. ... this book is based on my character, hotaru shimizu. hotaru belongs to a group called Étos, a group that some friends and i made based off of the Project Sekai universe. are we sure we want to end this way? mizuena & kanamafu ena's dad locks her from ever associating herself with art again from an arguement between akito, her father and herself from harsh comments on her art, also reflecting onto her father reputation, especially after only finding out akito was involved in an illegal activity. mizuki finds their identity lost between the words and whispers of previous classmates tormenting them and misgendering them to the point mizuki becomes mentally sick and unable to even move from their room. kanade's dad was found dead because of her tripping and loosening a cord that brings air into his lungs, grief pouncing onto kanade and terribly impacting her sleep schedule and mental well-being. mafuyu's mother has a damaging conflict with her father and divorces him and struggles financially forcing mafuyu to completely block herself from even composing a song with nightcord again to focus on her career on becoming a doctor to raise money for her and her mother. mafuyu's mother reflects her rage and anger on mafuyu who barely is able to maintain her calm, kind state at school.
