1946. tw : war, depression, cigarettes, alcohol. the war has ended in japan, leaving the country in a state. ena's father was killed during the war, and her brother akito is yet to return, causing her mother to go into a great state of depression. ena is fairly popular at school, but feels extremely empty inside. she encounters a light-hearted person, mizuki, who seems too happy and too calm about the situation. what if mizuki is hiding something? what if, under those clouded eyes, there is a void of regret and secrecy?

so like... you know how theres a dialogue or whatever that kanade gets stopped by model scouts cause she's too pretty? this is a "what if" she accepted i know nothing abt modeling btw so i hope my lack of knowledge isnt offensive [ alt. title: lyrical beauty ] worked on this instead of class and sleeping...
