49 years before Katniss and Peeta were hailed as the victors of 74th Hunger Games, 25 years before Haymitch got out alive of the 50th Hunger Games, the very 1st Quarter Quell was announced. Weiss Eidelsmith, son of the mayoress of District 9, was reaped to participate in the 25th Hunger Games. This is a rework of the fanfiction that I wrote back in 2012. I am still in the middle of rewriting the chapters and I'll upload every time I finished 3. Please enjoy. All of the uploaded chapters are still rough drafts. When Rose Jacobs is chosen for the 25th hunger games-first quater quell- she finds secrets and treachery from the career pack. This Hunger games career pack is April Winters from district 1, Andrew Saint from district 1, Mark Anderson from district 2, Cerulean Cassino from district 4 and Rowan White from district 4. The district 2 girl, Sunshine Roberts, has hidden away from her usual place in the pack for reasons that suggest the first rebellion.

My name is Angus. I am 17 years old. I live in district 10. And I'm about to become the male tribute of my district for the 25th annual Hunger Games. President Bell said that this year would be very special, but no one could have predicted what is about to happen.

The year is 2025.Every year the capital makes a competition named Hunger Games happens in America.At Hunger Games every district picks randomly a player age 15-17 to compete.Every player of every district gets a random teammate from another district.Then,the game starts.It lasts 7 days and if nobody wins until the day 7 sudden death comes and everybody dies.In Hunger Games you must do anything you can to survive.

When Abigail Crest is deemed the female Tribute, she must fight alone with her Ally, ensuring that her friend shall live. With no one but her Ally to rely on, surviving becomes harder and harder- mentally and physically.

Cerbera Lull from district 2, discovers in the worst possible way that the 25th annual hunger games, will be totally different from the other games she grew up with. She's scared, disenchanted and hopeless after seeing year after year children die in terrible ways. But now there is the first quarter quell and her story begins on the 3rd of July, one day before the reaping

"We were chosen for a reason. Don't expect us to be kind." The 25th Hunger Games started with a horrible twist: the districts would have to choose for is played in the capital's life and death game. All across the districts, parents are huddled crying, then hoping, begging, pleading to neighbors to not to enter their child. Because who would willingly fight to the death? Glisten Jerez is a fighter. She should be as coming from district 1, she's literally trained her whole life for this. And so what if the other tributes were chosen by their district itself? It just means more fun for her. Trained in spear and mace, she's strong, tough, and had the worst potty mouth. But will her temper get her in trouble? Of course not. Nothing and no one will stand in her way...even if she has to kill every single one of them. "Our district always chose the tributes, anyone, even the stupidest idiot could see that. But this is the only time the world would know. There's more than just honor on the line."

Maris was the outcast of District 4, so when the announcement reached the ears of those who hated her, joy radiated through their hearts. A deadly, horrible joy. But why was she so hated? This story dives into the social and political implications of this concept while also exploring the reasons why the Quarter Quells were announced in the first place. Amber Gold is an extremely spoiled fifteen year old girl whose on the verge of making the biggest mistake of her life, volunteering for the 25th Hunger Games. Does she care? No. That is until her twin brother, becomes a tribute with her. This years Quarter Quells twist is that one girl and boy from the ages six to eleven will also be called, in remembrance that young children also conspired against the Capitol during the rebellion.
