The remaining human population is estimated to be 1.5 billion, the attempts to rebuild civilization has been halted due to factions controlling regions and large parts of Europe and Asia, limiting their capability to move and live freely.
Each faction, controlling regions, resources, and manpower, bringing forth twisted ideas of civilization's rebirth.
Those whom escaped the Iron Grip's rule and survived the lands of Central America's endless conflict, migrated to the European Continent.
