You see, he got reincarnated into the 2012 tmnt verse as a turtle tot and got adopted by 2012 leo because of the big heart 2012 leo has. while raising the reincarnated rise leo, they gave him a new name "kitsune" that was the biggining of reborn rise leo's life.
