I wrote this speech three years ago, in 5th grade. It won second place in our classroom contest and I was suppose to go and compete against others in my school, but i couldn't get through the speech without crying. I hope you guys like it. Especially those who know what I went through.

The author goes on a emotional rant about being 2nd place. Not in a game or even at school, just being 2nd in life. Being the star in the shadow of the sun.

This is a compilation of short stories I wrote for a contest run by Sarahlove909, called Best Writer On Wattpad.
