Deep in the woods near a small town in upstate New York, lives a creature called the Dream Catcher, a little man of sorts that travels between houses every night to catch the bad dreams of children, provided they have a dream catcher up and they don't see him. One night little Penny Armedon wakes up just as the Dream Catcher is collecting the bad dreams, and is spotted. Will he get out of there in time to save himself and his job? Or will he get caught and let the nightmares run famous in the very neighborhood he's trying to protect?
