It's no secret that confessing your feelings can be a daunting task, especially if the person you're confessing to is your best friend. The fear of rejection and the possibility of losing your friendship can make the situation even more difficult. However, what if confessing your feelings could actually save your life? Would you still be hesitant to confess?

In this coming of age tale, seventeen year old Jaq and his best friend May, find a book that promises true happiness and love to the reader if they follow it's simple guide. Will Jaq learn to harness the power of the book and secure his date with Asha at the Homecoming Dance, or will he find unknown secrets within his small town and help others find their way through the struggles of life?

When Celena finds a old book in her attic she thinks nothing of it,after all what could a old book do? That is until she opens it and gets sent to a place only herd of in stories,with residents who are usually only mentioned in fear. It doesn't help that she's somehow bonded to one of the most mysterious residents.

This will be my intake of writing a poem every day for 31 days. I hope you will enjoy them.

The 1st of October starts off like any other day until a small boy begins showcasing some rather strange abilities. Soon hundreds of people a day start becoming infected by a strange assortment of powers. Fear and panic spread across the country as the government tries to deal with the inflicted. As if 2020 couldn't get any worse! Check out this anthology of 31 Short Stories and poems based off my own randomised prompts. All stories and poems are set within the same larger story so be sure to keep an eye out for nods to other parts of this collection. Disclaimer - Some of the elements of these stories may feature subject matter that might be upsetting for some people. So please read with caution.

There are two bitter things I learned in life: 1.) Love doesn't last forever, no matter how hard you try to convince yourself that this is just a hoax, the truth is, it isn't, same thing goes with friendship. 2.) Don't get too attached to someone no matter how special he makes you feel, trust me, you'll only get hurt in the end. This is a story about how I, Rosa Wellington, got betrayed, broken, and worst of all, how a tiny part of me dies whenever I remember him, Spencer Lewis, the boy who introduced me to this addictive thing that we always seem to get lost into, Love. I know it sounds cliché, but this is my story, the story that changed me.
