This is based off of the videogame Halo, this book begins before the covenant invasion when the Spartans where intended for human conflicts.

The Spartan II Program was frowned upon. If news of critical failure got out, then it would have been shut down sooner. So what did they do to keep critical failures secret? They erased the candidates from all records. But what happens if one of those candidates refuses to be erased? Candidate-150, a girl named Ruby, was taken away at a young age, put under the vigorous training of the Spartan II Program, and eventually, forced to undergo the procedures too. But that doesn't mean it worked. When the UNSC and the ONI try to get rid of her, will she find new allies and turn against them, or will she allow her nativity to get the better of her and succumb to those who want her gone?

I am Corporal Terry Thurm, and I am a SPARTAN of the UNSC. My team and I left the human colony of Rapture aboard the UNSC frigate DESTINY. Thinking it would be an easy trip so we hit the cryopods, only to be woken to a rebel attack on the ship. Little did we know that rebels would be the least of our worries. Follow me and my team as we battle this new foe. I do not own HALO or claim any rights to the franchise. Those belong to 343 industries and the creators. I own ONLY the plot, Title, and select characters.

With the Rising of the Omnic, and a new terrorists organization know as Talon have resulted in a new global threat. The new breed of soldiers know as "Spartans" have been issued with the intent of putting them into an end since Overwatch has been deactivated. Later Spartan (number) by the name of (Y/N) (L/N) is recruited into the newly reformed Overwatch. If they want war, we'll give them war!
