Ren walks towards the thrown his father sits upon. The glamour concealed axe in his hands weighs heavy in his grip. He stops next to his father's thrown, his smaller one next to it. Ren's eyes catch that or Martyn's blue from where the blond stands in the crowd in the thrown room. Martyn nods and Ren looks back towards his father, dropping the his glamour on the axe. He swings the axe, chopping the head off his father's head, continuing generations of sons killing their fathers for the thrown. Blood sprays his face, he lets go of the axe now lodged in the back of the thrown. He pulls the crown off the king's body-less head, "THE RED KING HAS FALLEN!" or, Martyn and Ren, one human, one dog hybrid with royal status. How will they navigate their world with their unusual love. Centuries ago, the world was as it is for you. Humans hunting, animals living, and evolution expanding. But, humans got greedy. They wanted too much, they used whatever they could find to get what they dreamed of- good or bad. They went to science, to alchemy, to the dead practices of their ancestors. And they paid the heavy price for trying to get more than they needed. Now, animals run free, humans live in hiding, cities and towns overgrown and used by any- just not humans. The world has been taken over by a different race, humans and their new "rulers" living separate, one fearing the other, 'the other' fearing 'one'. The rulers, the species that was created by humans, they were ones that never should have been possible. Midnight Alley was never deemed a 'friendly' city by any means, but the residents there make it work. Including Grian and Scar, two architecture students at Jellie University. You wouldn't think anything was extra ordinary about them just by their looks. But that would be the wrong way of thinking. In reality, Scar is the one and only hero working for Midnight Alley: HotGuy! And whilst he's legally allowed to just go beat people up essentially, he takes particular interest in a certain criminal. A faceless avian hybrid who seems to want to protect the city just as much as he does is fighting crime without a hero's license. Even though it could completely ruin his career as a hero, the charismatic man takes it upon himself to talk with the vigilante, who he eventually ends up naming CuteGuy. CuteGuy, on the other hand, absolutely hated the idea of partnering up with HotGuy. But after some bloody battles and a possibility of war, he realized that he's going to have to if he wants to save the city to survive. As they continue to fight their way to justice, join CuteGuy and HotGuy as they build their relationship, stand up to Dogwarts, and attempt to balance their civilian lives whilst keeping a low profile.

It's almost Christmas and Scott feels very single and very alone. Cleo tries to be the best wingman they can be, but of course Scott is stubborn. Fortunately for Scott, Lady Luck smiles upon him. Grian, now locked out of his admin powers, has to figure out a way to get everyone out of the game without dying. There are new threats that certainly are not fun and there are new players who definitely shouldn't be there. How will they get out? Will they get out? Will Grian figure it out? Or will Xisuma find them first? I guess only time will tell.
