You've probably heard of the saying "Breaking the 4th wall." It's what we say when a character in a cartoon or a book acknowledges that their existence is fictional. But, what if, someone, a book character, acknowledged the existence of the real world? What if, in some weird way, they really exist? Technically, they exist within our imagination. But, what if there was a way to link our imagination, to the real world?

A prequel to my story "The Story on the Board." It tells the story of the first two times the readers entered the world with their vessels. What? You have no clue what I'm talking about? Well, in this world, the readers and some other entities not of this world have vessels, and while they can take physical form, this leaves them wide open to attack. This story is the beginning. The rise of Antagonist, and the story of Peter, two sons of the God of this world. Our story begins, with why inaction is known as the worst action. We begin, with the readers' first failed attempt to save this world.

Poor poor Gareth has been written a life of absolute. Never to rise nor fall in action. No conflict whatsoever.
