Avery Parker has always had a bad life. Her dad has raised her her whole life because her mom disappeared a month after her birth. She has basically mothered her younger sister, Kelsey Parker. But, her dad isn't well. He has cancer and because of this he decided they would move to Sydney, Australia to live with her Aunt Nicki just incase anything happens to him. Avery is devastated. At school he is the reject bad boy that no one talks to. He is an outcast, no one ever messes with him though because of his bad boy image. When really his a sweet broken boy. Maybe one day someone will realize. They have so much in common. One parents, raised younger siblings, rejects, outcast, broken hearts, depression, weekly therapist appointments, and they both have scars. What happens when Avery's Aunt lives right across the street from the Irwins? Ashton's mum tells Ashton to go welcome them to the neighborhood and give them the cookies she made and Avery's aunt tells her to go make new friends. And that's how they meet, but will they become friends of reject each other like everyone else has rejected them.
