A poetry zine about the five stages of grief crafted by Grade 12 - Benevolence students of Cebu Institute of Technology - University (CIT-U) for LIT12: 21st Century Literature from the Philippines and the World. Words stitched from loss, memory, and mending. Each page a fragment of denial, anger, bargaining, depression, and acceptance. This zine follows a girl grieving not for someone else, but for the version of herself she wished she could have become. In denial, she clings to the idea that she was always enough. Anger follows, turned inward at herself and the life she feels held her back. In bargaining, she dwells on what ifs, rewriting the past in her mind. Depression settles in as she mourns the dreams she never reached. In acceptance, she begins to see that growth does not end, and that she can still move forward, as a person better than she wanted to be. Still, a question lingers.
