This story about Annie and Finnick's life is inspired by the Hunger Games books, movies and fan movies. I don't own any of this. I mixed the movies and books and added some fan made stuff. The Hunger Games is owned by Suzanne Collins. All book accurate things are owned entirely by her.

Annie Cresta is a girl from District 4. Her and her best friend; Finnick O'dair have been together since they started school. Annie thinks her life will get better when Finnick wins the games but when Annie is reaped for the 70th Hunger Games, her life falls apart. Will Annie be able to survive? Have you ever wondered what occurred before the events of the 74th Hunger Games? Katniss has never been the most attentive, so there are so many events and games that go unknown, that I am here to bring to light. In the first book of this little series, I bring to you: The 70th Hunger Games: A Little Love. The story of Annie Cresta, her life before, during, and after the games, including her relationship with Finnick Odair. We all know highlights of the mad girls games but what is the full story? How did she go mad? How did she survive? The story of how a small scared district four girl bullied her entire life survived the games and stole the heart of the great Finnick odair.

Where Panem had built something new and warped from the ashes calling the old system insufficient, the rest of the world tried to recreate what they lost. Annie Haddock with her dual citizenship in Europe and Panem was screwed from a young age. When she gets reaped in the Hunger Games, she's not surprised. Not really. Everyone else is. Astrid and the rest of the Dragon Riders watch Annie fight in the games. They had no idea what they were in for.

Just a short story I came up with about Finnick and an OC. I wrote this for my students as we are doing a unit on FanFiction. I hope you enjoy it!

Ariel Maesa is a career tribute from district 4. She had spent many years training for the games, with no plan of ever going into them, her training just a precaution. At the age of 17, she volunteers for the 70th Hunger Games, to protect Annie, a close friend from the docks, and a girl Ariel is sure could never win, but can she win herself?
