Another year, another Hunger Games. This year, there is another wide array of tributes. All the way from District 9, I would like to introduce Fern Underglow. At just 12 years old, she is bravely going to face off against 23 other kids in a new and exciting arena. But you get the first-hand account of it all, right from her. Enjoy, and may the odds be ever in your favour. 'One person can't make a difference. But a team can.' !Disclaimer! - I do not own the Hunger Games or anything in that universe, only my characters. All rights are to Suzanne Collins

Being the New Head Gamemaker's daughter, Catherine Burns's father made a deal with President Snow to keep his daughter's name out of the reapings. But on the day of the reapings, Catherine's name is picked and she has no idea how her name got in the bowl. In this odd arena, everyone wants to be allies (and enemies) with the girl who's father has mapped out their death to use her for her knowledge, or kill her to rid of the girl who could stand in their way of being the one and only victor. *I do not own the Hunger Games nor the concept of it*

"And the female tribute from district five is..." she prolonged the wait by seconds and I though some of us might pass out from holding our breath. "Kail Lacwick." Rung out across the square. My stomach dropped as I numbly stepped out of line and was lead to the stage by peacekeepers. "Any volunteers?" Her voice was followed by clear silence. I had no sisters who could, but most likely wouldn't, step up for me. "Okay then, on to the boys." I wished I could be in my bed and wake up finding this all a nightmare, but it wasn't. This was really happening. She fished inside the bowl to pull out a simple slip of paper. At the podium she opened it. "And the male tribute is..." I sucked in a breath, "Derik Lacwick." I knew that name instantly. It was my brother. [[ I created most of the characters and the plot (sorta) but the whole main idea is Suzanne Collins. All rights belong to me and of course Collins ]]
