Two years after the war, Hermione Granger returns to Hogwarts to finish her eighth year. Now fueled by a passion for journalism, she lands an internship with the Daily Prophet and is promptly stuck covering the one thing she knows nothing about... Quidditch. Draco Malfoy is bored out of his mind in his eighth year at Hogwarts. After a prank gone wrong, he discovers that Harry's life isn't really that much better than his own. As they try to keep their friends from realizing that they've somehow swapped minds, they find it's easier to spend time together. Becoming friends comes naturally. But are their friends really as fooled as they believe? Complete at 5 chapters; will post a chapter a day all this week as a birthday present to myself.

(Harry Potter AU) Once the war ended, every student, that was in the seventh year, was invited back, due to missing out on a lot of the education. Although, as expected, the majority of the year declined the offer, because they new that the castle world hold many bad memories that they all suffered through. Professor McGonagall, who was made the new Headmistress after Dumbledore's death, decided that the houses need not eat at separate tables or learn with students from their house alone, as to help reduce the risk of house rivalries causing conflicts. Harry was in the small handful of returning students, glad to be able to escape the Dursleys for another year. To his dismay, Draco Malfoy seemed to be doing the same as him, meaning another year of their rivalry. Hermione was also in the few to return, but Ron, not being able to face the place of his brother's death, didn't join them. Some who participated in the war changed quite severely, whether it be for better or worse depends on the person. Harry Potter was, unfortunately, affected rather negatively and, unbeknownst to everyone, he has been trying to accomplish a great feat, which he believes will give him freedom whilst there. Now on the brink of success, he is waiting for a single event to bring his plans to completion.
