Elijah Kamski, creator of androids, has been kidnapping people left and right with his new and improved Chloe model. Conan, an RK900 model, gets assigned to Gavin Reed, a Detroit Police Detective, to figure out what's going on. But when Tina, Gavin's childhood best friend, goes missing and four missing people are found dead, Gavin finds a lead and chases it without telling anyone. He meets at the spot and ends up getting kidnapped by his father and sold to his brother for testing. Will Conan save everyone, will the testing go wrong, or will it go correct and have a new species on our hands? Gavin Reed is a troubled man with a weird sence of humour. Nines Richardson, or RK900, is a new android ready to explore his purpose in life. When they are assigned as partners, Gavin tries to keep distance between him and the android. Can Nines show Gavin how to let go and see the world like a new soul? After the Android Revolution, a law was created to give rights to androids to be treated as equal to humans. Unfortunately, not everyone is in agreement of this idea. One of these people are Gavin Reed. Ever since the law was passed, Gavin has been deteriorating. His opinions starts to affect his work. So as a way to solve this problem he is given an android partner, an RK900 model, Conan. Neither Gavin nor Conan is pleased with their situation. WARNING: Swearing (as you can see in the title), none of these characters are mine (obviously), the story is written in Gavin's perspective but with third person pronoun, I'm not that knowledgeable about the Police so I apologize in advance if I get anything wrong. Also: this fic is 90% crack cuz I can't do serious. I take it back it's 100% crack. I take it back it's 9000% crack. Changes in universe: RK900 will be referred to as Conan (as said in the summary), Gavin and Elijah are twins (although Elijah is barely mentioned [nevermind he's in the story now]), and there is also romance between Gavin with Conan and Hank with Connor and more (Uh... I guess spoilers to this fanfic: Elijah and Leo because I felt like it) Comments and corrections are welcomed. (Please tell me if I had made a mistake)

Gavin asks himself this question as he looks down at his phone, his thumb hovering over the number of his ex. It can't end well. It probably won't. But there really really isn't much of a choice left for him. Besides, it's only one weekend. How bad can it be? AU where Gavin and Niles broke up and now have to pretend they're still together for the wedding of Reed's sister. This is going to end up just the way you think.

⚠️ Gun violence self harm suicidal tendencies and actions⚠️ Detective Gavin Reed is partnered with a newer model of the RK900, after success of the android revolution. The android slowly develops feelings for the smartass moron known as Gavin. 'Detective Smartass', or Gavin, starts to feel things for the 'emotionless' android too.

Gavin uses Hank's example and tries to drink away the awfulness of the day. He doesn't expect to meet a man of his dreams. God really enjoys punching him where it hurts, it seems. But, as everyone knows, Reed is not a quitter.
