CreepyKillen
Celeste Bell's mutation has never been particularly interested in keeping her feelings private. For that reason, and many others, she has always found plants easier than people.
The mutant known as Bloom was perfectly content spending her days tending to Xavier's school greenhouse, where the flowers don't expect conversation, the vines don't ask uncomfortable questions, and nobody notices when she'd rather disappear into the greenery to avoid being the center of attention.
As tensions between mutants and humanity reach a breaking point, Cece finds herself pulled further from the safety of her greenhouse and instead alongside the X-Men. Between old friendships, new threats, devastating loss, and feelings for a certain Cajun that are becoming increasingly difficult to hide, Cece will have to discover that being gentle doesn't make her weak, and that sometimes, in order to grow, you have to let yourself be seen.
After all, flowers can't hide forever. Eventually, they bloom.
