When a human infant is found within the Crystal Chamber, SkekZok takes it upon himself to raise her as an heir for the Skeksis. Now, that heir has grown up, and her life changes for the worst the day she witnessed a Gelfling being drained.

Another world. Another time. Another age. A thousand trine ago, the land sprouted beautiful flora, housed plentiful fauna, and was home to the seven Gelfling clans. From the Vapra to the north to the Grottan down below, Thra thrived and all was well for those who dwelled upon or under its surface. Until the day Mother Aughra turned her eye to the stars and left the Crystal of Truth in the hands of the Skeksis. With a massive orrery and promises of beauty amongst the expansive cosmos, she entrusted the very heart of Thra to the worst possible creatures to ever set foot on the world. As the cruel Skeksis corrupt the Crystal of Truth in their secluded chambers, one Gelfling in particular minds her business. Most days, at the very least. While she could be a tad nosy, it wasn't in her best interests to snoop about anywhere past the Scientist's laboratory during her times as his assistant or guinea pig. Of course, that doesn't halt her from attempting to expand her knowledge of her surroundings and Thra as a whole. Blame the Scrollkeeper for indulging her more than he probably should have on numerous occasions. Couple all of this with becoming the object of the Chamberlain's "affections", and you've got Vex - the Sifan Castle guard who is just trying to get through each day without much interruption. It never goes as planned most days, however. Then again... When does it ever? {A collection of drabbles pertaining to my OC Vex, and her adventures in and outside of the Castle. The problem was that it wasn't re-watched enough to be selected by the Crystal of Truth themselves. Now, chosen by the imprisoned Dark Crystal, one small fan of a canceled franchise series must save those in Thra before the end of the season. Wouldn't be so hard right? It should be the easiest thing yet. The issue? Well, during your mission, the Skeksis seem to learn bits of the small hero undercover every day. Little by little, even they would keep you there. Imprisoned and never to leave.

This my thoughts and opinions on the new series of The Dark Crystal I will also make my own predictions on what will happen next. This also may contain spoilers, if you have not seen the series please go watch it and don't read this you have been warned. I don't own the photo I used as the cover all rights go to the owners. Set two years before the events of Age of Resistance, this tale centers around Tavra & Onica's adventures with Sifan captain, Athyra. A strong, beautiful, weathered Gelfling, full of charm and sledgehammer wit. After fleeing from her Vapran roots, she was taken in by the Sifa at a young age and is now captain of a samaudren, leading a band of haggard pirates who are about to set sail on a heroic quest. But first, she needs a strong warrior and a fardreamer. When Onica catches word of this, she sends for Tavra to join her on this adventure. Yet in the shadows of the seas, a secret revolution whispers, and both may soon find themselves in the middle of a world far too large. This series will release in Acts, with each section being around 3500 words. One new piece of the story will release every month!

In an unrealized take on the continuance of Netflix's The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance, we see Rian and Deet continue to unite the Gelfling Clans against the Skeksis in a war to unite the Crystal Shard to the Dark Crystal and defeat the Skeksis. This story will aim to make sense an end to the Age of Resistance to the beginning of the story as we know it in The Dark Crystal. I hope you enjoy the story.

Was getting kinda bored with wattpad so wanted to put my otp here. It might not be a lot, but I hope you enjoy reading about a weird/non cannon ship!

The rebellion should be revealing in its victory over the skekis at the battle at stone in the wood. But they lost many friends and Deet hasn't been seen since. Worried not only for their friend but the darkening's effect on Thra, Rian and the others turn to Mother Aughra. In turn, she leads them to two gelflings who know the evil of the skekis better than anyone living...

I recently came across some interesting Dark Crystal fanfiction (seriously, I want to know where some of you get these ideas) and decided there simply wasn't enough of it in this world. Here's my contribution. Note: while this is a parody, I am not trying to make fun of anyone specifically. Writing, self expression, and creativity should always be encouraged and enjoyed, this is just me recognising common themes and popular tropes and having a bit of fun with them.

Deet finds out more about her visions while trying to control her new powers. Apologies for spelling errors and punctuation errors. In The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance, the most hated character is Seladon for many reasons. Is she absolutely irredeemable or a Gelfling who made forgivable mistakes? Spoilers for The Dark Crystal and The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance (obviously)

Oona seems to be an average gelfling. She works as a castle guard, comes from quite a poor family, and is even friends with Captain Ordon's son. But, she hides a terrible secret, one that could tear her friends, her family, even Thra itself apart...
