Despair in gratefulness, relief in agony. That's how her world can be described, as she finds calmness in tragedy. Black and Blue is a collection of poems that scream how tragic it is to be young and burdened by quiet battles and a world that never seems to listen. Every word shouts the pain that lingers between growing up and falling apart, between living and merely surviving.

This is a haphazardly written poem that was barely refined, thanks to a state of flow that took over me after a dangerous experience that left me shook for days or weeks. It's one of those works that just sprang out of me. I have never been the biggest fan of poetry despite understanding the meaning behind it. But this tale wanted to get written in a certain way.

My love for the Dead goes back many decades, from my teenage years. And yes I've been to a bunch of concerts, but these are more personal stories, for reason that will be clear, below.

as you read the title, as i come up w n finish these poems, i will be publishing them immediately lmk what you think or if you can relate to my feelings if i'm being honest i go through a lot of sadness in my life n this is a way for me to escape n be at peace, a way for me to express how i feel without rlly saying anything w my mouth the reason i publish on here is bc nb rlly knows me on here so i appreciate if you enjoy what i write sometimes usually when i write poems i write abt my romantic feelings, these poems usually come out the best in my opinion, i think it's bc i'm so passionate abt it that it jus gets created n it's jus my raw emotions that i feel in the moment also, some may be happy, while others are more sad n that's ok. going through different emotions is what comes w having feelings for another individual. it's human.
