After the sufferers death, and the revolution, society never changed. All of the ancestors dead, with only few living followers, both troll and human. It is of a new age. Low bloods are still killed, the high bloods wish to rid society of these sickening low bloods. Karkat always accepted he would never lead a full, happy life. Not with this blood. He sat in his cold empty cell, awaiting death that would come in a hour. But what happens when there's a unexpected change of events?

I know it's like a thing where John and Jade are siblings and like they're related to Jake and Jane, but we're just gonna keep nanna and Jane and popop and jake separate people from separate families. Also I'm gonna have the strider and lalonde families separate because it's just easier that way. Okay so John and his beautiful sister Jade are having their yearly ball at their mansion. However, what they don't know is that their father invited an unwanted guest. One who may just change the very way Johns life swings. (Intended pun bye) Edit: Instead of updating like every other day like I used to I'll probably just update every week starting next week. :/ haven't really been into writing lately. Been watchin to much plinkoceans on YouTube. Heh. Help. P.S. I've watched all of their videos at least 4 times, like I cAN RECITE SOME OF THE VIDEOS. THATS NOT GOOD.

John is the new kid, with everything that comes with that title; awkwardness, shyness, and attempts to make friends. Except all of this is made even worse with the fact that he's deaf. Dave is your stereotypical resident coolkid. Except he's not. He's a huge nerd, but most people find him intimidating, what with his shades and the fact that he doesn't talk to anyone. Or rather, that he can't talk to anyone, being mute. The two get paired together and form a close bond quite quickly, to the surprise of most of the school, but to none of their friends'. ((I really suck at descriptions. Also, updates for this aren't set, so be prepared for longish waits between chapters or several at a time.))

Dave and (Y/N) have been best friends before their brother even met each other and before meeting the others. (Just to be clear you are Jake English little sister) Before then you could hear thing and talked. Then after a incident, you suddenly go deaf and can't hear a single thing. Dave regrets not telling you how he feels and now he is having a hard time without your horny self and funny personality. What will happen to you and will things go normal for you? P.S i am so sorry that I had to make you go deaf, but this idea just popped into my head.

(Jake's POV) "Dirk Strider! He's an interesting fellow..." I whispered keeping my eyes glued on the anime glasses wearing teen across the lunch room. Suddenly Dirk stood up and turned his head in my direction. "He couldn't have possibly heard-" My words got caught in my throat as Dirk began making his way towards my table. She won't be able to live peacefully without finding Vriska, without knowing shes out there, alive. She'll do anything to find her again, no matter how long it takes.
