I have a lot of emotions that I need to let out, and maybe you want to read them with me. These poems aren't going to be that good as my first lenguage is not english, I just hope that they make you feel something. *Some of the sentence/poem structures are meant to be messy and are not an editing error+*

Theo looks at me, his eyes sparkling with amusement, "I've never heard you snort before, that was cute," he chuckles. "Stop it-" I cover my face and peek out "there's a lot you don't know about me." He tilts his head thoughtfully and replies, "The phone works both ways...So, how are you?" His question catches me off guard, I flatter and place my hands infront of me "I'm good. And you?" "Good. Any plans for the summer?" "Umm... I'm aiming to break my record. Last summer, I read...34 or maybe 40 books. I can't remember." "Wow, what kinds of books do you enjoy?" Although he was abandoned at a young age, he clung tightly to life. His family may have given up on him, but he doesn't give up on life. No matter how difficult the conditions are in his new home, he has no trouble finding a reason to be happy. And with this characteristic, he makes everyone around him fascinate him. Seasons change, years pass; Arlo grows and grows older... His friends unwillingly leave him one by one. Arlo also does not want to be friends with anyone anymore in order not to get hurt again. Until he meets a boy named Trevor Ladd in the nursing home he is sent to.This little boy and the old man, who soon become inseparable friends, have a lot to learn from each other.
