Bagginshield fanfic I just began and I don't think this is very good, also Thorin is 'dead' (he isn't actually dead he'll return sometime in the story) while Bilbo is going through grief and all that stuff. It's been a few years since Erebor has been reclaimed. Thorin Oakensheild has taken his rightfully place as king. Fili and Kili have taken on the rolls as Erebor's prince's. Fili is Thorins eldest nephew and heir to the throne. Fili had been preparing for this his whole and has finally stepped into the role. Thorin says Fili was made for this role. Fili feels like there's something missing. Is he really meant for this or is there something else he was made for?
