Bellamy grimaced when she said those words, the apology he had not wanted. "It was an accident." He confirmed more with himself than with Clarke, the pain of it all finally hitting him. It felt like a slap to the face when she didn't say anything, only confirming everything further. He was hurt, but the only logical thing he could think to do was laugh. The humourless sound got Clarke's attention and she turned her gaze to him finally. It was clear to her that it was fake, the sad smile he had not reaching his eyes. But she couldn't think logically, everything she wanted to say to him dying immediately on her tongue. "It's fine." He whispered, but she knew better. "Not it's not, don't pretend with me Bellamy." He didn't know what he was thinking when he did it. Maybe it was that only she really knew him, hell possibly even better than himself. That she was the only person who understood what he was going through and why he did what he did. But everything felt right as he pressed his lips to hers desperately, kissing her as if his life depended on it. He dared not to open his eyes when he pulled away, keeping his forehead on hers as he squeezed them shut. This is a Clexa story with a little seamechanic and linctavia. Clarke is a recovering drug addict with a troubled past working at KB's a fast food place. Lexa is a cop that regularly goes to KB's. They both like the other but neither say anything till Clarkes old dealer shows up out of the blue and starts causing trouble. 2 Years ago Clarke and her father got into a terrible car crash. Clarke woke up in the hospital a few days later, only to find out her father didn't get so lucky. Jake (Clarke's father) was left in a coma and the doctors weren't sure if he would ever get out of it. Present-day Clarke and her mother financially struggle due to the high medical costs, of eeping Jake alive. To make sure Clarke has a financially stable future her mother wants to give up on Jake, who has made no progress and most likely never will. Clarke however, is not happy with her mother's idea and decides to take matters into her own hands. She applies for a high-paying job at a company owned by the daughter of the person she and her family hate the most in the entire universe, to save her father.
