3,000 years ago, Eternatus caused a calamity known as the Darkest Day, but was stopped by a giant of light. It successfully defeated it, but in return, it went down along with it, losing its physical body. Its powers were separated to two and gave it to the trusted Pokémon Zacian and Zamazenta. And left multiple artifacts called Spark Dolls, were scattered around the region for thousands of years. Now, to the present, Soudo Tsurugi and Schildemilia Tate are exploring the region to find Schilly's lost Pokémon. However, they unknowingly won't expect to stumble on a different adventure.
