"No, Dean. You're the one tearing everything apart. You always have!" Charlottes voice snapped through the quiet, shaking more than she wanted it to. Her hands were already trembling, curled into fists at her sides. "you come and go as you please, leaving all of your wreckage behind, and now you're here acting like you know what's best for this town- best for me!"
She shook her head, the wind tugging loose strands of hair across her face. She didn't move to fix them. She couldn't pull herself to look away from him.
Deans jaw Flexed. He took a step toward her, then stopped, caught somewhere in between wanting to reach for her, and knowing he couldn't anymore.
"I left because I thought I was protecting you!" His voice cracked through the wind. "Every damn time, charlie! You think it was easy walking away from the only person i've ever-"
He cut himself off. His eyes darting to the weapons in his trunk, searching for something to somehow rescue him from having to finish his sentence. He clenched his jaw, hard enough to the point she could hear the faint grind of his teeth.
"doesn't matter," he muttered.

Moving from town to town wasn't a new concept to Charlotte Fray. It was practically the heartbeat of a hunters life- Find a new town, Unpack, Stay a couple months pretend to settle, pack again, then leave. It was the routine. Things never changed, not since the hunt one year ago when she and dean walked away alive, but not untouched.
Charlotte carried a curse now, A quiet ticking time bomb under her own skin. Something she had no information about. Everything stayed predictable.. until the Frays stumbled back into their hometown, Pinecrest, North Carolina. Everything was the same. Same streets. Same faces. Charlotte finally hoped for some aspect of normalcy. Everything was normal, except for the fact the place was practically crawling with supernaturals.
