He trusted them-like an idiot-but even when he came to after the fact, he didn't dare go against them. He put his head down and forced one foot in front of the other. Obedience to the best of his ability, right up to the line in the sand where compliance becomes dangerous. He has to walk that line-sometimes, he has to dance on it-but it's not like he has a choice. He belongs to Sam and Dean Winchester. What else can he do?

After Sam bravely sacrificed himself to trap Lucifer and Michael in hell along with Adam. Dean has been able to live a normal life the past year with Lisa and Ben.
